Air terminal Orbital type CONTRA60 is an electrostatic lightning rod (Radius) which has the latest technology. Not ESE (Early Streamer Emission) technology, but Orbital CONTRA60 uses CESE (Controlled Streamer Emission) technology, which is the newest ionization technology using ION Generation Channels from the internal Air terminal. This technology makes the CONTRA60 head terminal more sensitive and active against lightning exposure.
Supported by a taper and high structure at the top of the ORBITAL CONTRA60 lightning rod head terminal, this lightning rod makes it able to attract lightning strikes with the highest voltage which will then flow into the grounding system. In addition, the CONTRA60 anti-lightning has advantages as listed below.
